Steam Sterilization Instructions

Follow these steps for proper steam sterilization

1

Pre Wash

• Disassemble all components, including silicone tubes from the tongue housing and Y-adaptor.

• Rinse all parts under warm running water for 30 seconds to remove visible debris.

• Scrub with small brush (e.g.) pipe cleaner using soap and water, including inside the tubes and suction slots of the tongue housing.

• Purge under warm water and check for removal of all debris.
2

Ultrasonic Bath

• Fill ultrasonic cleaner with distilled or purified water.

• Add enzymatic detergent per the manufacturers recommended dilution instructions.

• Fully submerge disassembled parts in the bath, shake for 15 min. Agitate to Ensure no parts are touching or crowding each other.

• Remove and Rinse off ultrasonic solution thoroughly with purified water, lay onto lint-free towel to dry.
3

Autoclave

• Disassemble the system completely.

• Place individual pieces into a separate autoclave sterilization pouch.

• Position sealed pouches as close as possible to the corners ensuring adequate space of the sterilization chamber.

• Effective sterilization Pre-vacuum cycle at 132ºC (270ºF) for 4 minutes, or Gravity cycle at 121ºC (250ºF) for 30 minutes, followed by a 30-minute drying cycle according to validated cycles.
4

Use sterilization settings appropriate for plastics

• Pre-vacuum cycle at 132ºC (270ºF) for 4 minutes, or Gravity cycle at 121ºC (250ºF) for 30 minutes, followed by a 30-minute drying cycle.

• Allow the items to cool and air dry inside the autoclave before handling.

• After sterilization, inspect each device for defects such as cracks, breaks, or signs of wear.

• Store sterilized devices in a clean, dry area until the next use.
Important Safety Notice
Effective sterilization Pre-vacuum cycle at 132ºC (270ºF) for 4 minutes, or Gravity cycle at 121ºC (250ºF) for 30 minutes, followed by a 30-minute drying cycle according to validated cycles. Visually inspect the device before and after each use. Only reuse devices that are free of damage or deformation. Replace the product within 12 months of use, or sooner if any natural wear and tear or defects are noticeable.
